You don't mind writing a passage for us, do you? If you are stumped, try to at least come up with an idea of what you think would happen and I can write one off of that.
I think that's pretty good! You could maybe make it a bit more lengthier, but it's still pretty good even being a short answer. ^^

I think the question is asking for a passage about an alternate world of which Thomas Jefferson had inspired a French Revolution-style kind of wave of violence after his return to the United States. Although, this person needs to write what they think

I'm not Ms. Sue, but I'm pretty sure that's your answer since of course, it's not C or A. And, B isn't the answer since it would be like a line between two different lands. So, I'm pretty sure the answer is D. ^^

I agree with Ms. Sue, you might want to consider looking at a map before asking this question. If you don't know what you're searching for, look up a map of Cuba or look up is Cuba an Isthmus. I also recommend learning what a isthmus is. ^^;
