well i have this homework question that says:
A rock is dropped from the top of a 300-ft cliff. It's velocity at time t seconds is v(t0= -32 t feet per second.
a.) Find the height of the rock above the ground at time t.
b.) How long will the rock take to reach the ground?
c.) What will be the velocity when it hits the ground?
That is the problem I am working with tonight.
I can do it two ways. I'm not sure which way is right though. Here is way 1.
(If you don't make the oxygen into O2.)
Also I think you just confusing yourself. You don't need to add any OH.
This is how I would do it.
Equation: H2O2 ==> H2O +O
Charge: -1 ==> -2
Solution: add +1e- to the left hand side so the charges equal.
Therefore:
H2O2 +1e- ==> H2O + O
Way 2.
Equation:2H2O2 ==> 2H2O +O2
Charge: -2 0
Solution: add 2 electrons (+ 2e-) to the right and side.
Solution: 2H2O2 ==> H2O + O2 +2e-
-2 -2
I think the first way is right.
The answer is- you mom! OOOOOOHHHHH!!!!
thank you!
Yes, i also ment for example, if there was a,b,c,d, i narrowed it down to a and c. thanks. And may i please have the regents links? thank you so much!
actually John 1:1-1:18, sorry I forgot to put that. And for the question, i meant "where is it making...: not "what..." sorry
Thank you so much!
Okay,thank you very much!
Part a should be:
40m/s / 5.0s = 8.0m/s^2
1-1-7-7
2-2-6-6
3-3-5-5
4-4-4-4
still think also hope it helps
thank you Ms. Sue
there will be 16 bacteria.
you take 2 time 4 to find out how many bacteria in one then 2 times 4 is 8 so 8 times 2.. equals 16
o, duh.. thanks you both of you

how would you answer this?
I am a tutor for a student working on the same thing so I somewhat know this material. (the book is Introductory and Intermediate Algebra for College Students, by the way)
Unfortunately I don't have the book, so I am using my general knowledge and the girl I tutor sent me a screen shot of one page. The unfortunate thing is that I still cannot help her share a problem with the class because we can't flip through the book.
How does the author determine what the first equation should be?
The first step is to make a total value problem. This step helps us familiarize ourselves with the information given and makes it easier to understand.
What about the second equation?
The second equation is where they put in more general information from the word problem and make it a system of equations.
How are these examples similar?
They are similar because they both take the word problems and change the information into equations. They are similar because they use the same letters and they are trying to solve the values of each variable.
How are they different?
They are different because they use completely different facts from the information.
thanks but that website was absolutely no help.

Are you sure about the 4w (324/w^2)?
Shouldn't it be 8w (324/w^2), since you are multiplying the four sides by the cost of $2 per square foot?

9.718g/142.04= 0.0684 mols sodium sulfate
i think my equation is wrong. should it be
C4H6O4Hg + Na2SO4 ----------->

but then there are no coefficients
when i did the quadratic equation, i ended up with a negitive number under the radical. and you cant slove from then?
what formula did you use???
Plz tell me the answer i have been doing this for hours

You are given angular velocity initial, angular acceleration, and time.
use wf=wi+at
wf=0+(0.630rad/s)*(3s)
I have that same problem too and the answer is 11 836/1000
F=ma
m=mass of the car
a= given acceleration
so..
F=(1236.9)(2.73)
Fcar=3376.737 N
the answer is 2. if you do the work. it isn't that difficult. Add the data for the seniors and divide by 10 then do the same for the juniors.
