Can't anyone help me with these problems?:(
nevermind, after reading ahed in my maths book, I think I'm finally starting to get it; still, thank you for always helping me whenever I don't understand my homework! :)
oh, you're absolutely right; I was having such a hard time thinking that the least number of words could be 360. Thanks
oh, sorry again, I thought I'd typed it, but my keyboard keeps running low on battery... A 360 B 420 C 840 D 2520 E 7560
oh, it's not my keyboard, I guess it's not letting me post the answers in column, well, anyways, they are A) 360 B) 420 C) 840 D) 2520 E) 7560 again, I'm so sorry, but I really could use some help, please.
oh, thank you so much!
how many possible combinations there were and thank you very much for your explanation :)
oh, okay, wow, so that's the metohd; I get it now; thanks! before I had no idea how to even set up the equation, but I'm strating to see the pattern! :D
I get where the five is coming from, since that's the remainder of letters, but where are you getting the four from?
oh, okay! thanks a million! :)
he has a probability of 1:19?
is 1:19 the correct answer? Because, the more I think about it, the more confused I get since there are 20 students in the class, but it has to be 19, since Keshawn can't be partnered with himself, right?
sorry, but I don't get it...
oh, okay, so because a(squared)+b(squared)=c squared, I just substitue for cos sin, thanks.
So is the meter iambic heptameter?
I counted eight syllables in the first line of "Full Fathom Five" then seven syllables in the other lines. So the meter isn't iambic heptameter? Then how do I answer the question about meter? Sorry this is just confusing for me. Thanks for the help!
12, it's just to multiply 4 times 3 and you will know
Thank you!! =]
n2 should be n^2, so n^2 + 12n + 36
This is what I thought to begin with! Thanks for the help!
Do we use the FOIL method here? This is what I got.. (x+3) (x-5) < 0 (x+3<0 and x-5>0) or (x+3>0 and x-5<0) (x<-3 and x>5) or (x>-3and x<5) (x<-3 and x>5) or (-3 < x < 5) -3 < x < 5 Is any of this correct?
Yes these are good examples, and I found this site, but I need an issue current to 2009. Any ideas? Thanks!
I guess these would work, but how would I identify the enthymeme? Who could I use as an example that used an enthymeme in their speech?
Would the "above the influence" campagin against drugs be considered including enthymemes in their commericals? Could this be a possible example of a social issue today?
I was referring to the Above the influence campaign. Just the commercials in general. I was going to reference the site that promotes "Above The Influence"
Yes these are great! Thanks!
I would say that Professor Nostradamus would not be able to say that his model or theoretical simplified version representation of the real world is an explanatory device, although it can be used to play an important suggestive role in the formulation of his theory. Any thoughts?
Can he not say that there isn't a connection between the two variables?
Further testing. But if he did the same test over and over, he concluded that others would get the same result. So could it be that others results might vary?
The same tests under different conditions? Or using different subjects? I am lost on this one
So he could not say his tests were vaild unless others could verify the results?
Thanks for all your help!
So based on that the answer would be B. Upward to the left and downward to the right ??
So based on the explanation you provide the answer would be??? what i have below? B. Upward to the left and downward to the right ??
Thanks I chose B 10.4 Million. I am confident that this is the correct answer. Am I correct?
I wasn't sure but it is A then?
Not too good with math, actually i am no good at it.
Yes here they are (a) Describe in words how the graph of f can be obtained from the graph of y = e^x. (b) What is the domain of f? (c) What is the range of f? (d) What is the y-intercept? State the approximation to 2 decimal places (i.e., the nearest hundredth). (e) What is the horizontal asymptote?
Let y = f(x) y = (x + 3)/ (2x - 5) Switch x and y. x = (y + 3)/ (2y - 5) Multiply both sides by (2y - 5). 2xy - 5x = y + 3 Subtract 3 from both sides. 2xy - 5x - 3 = y Subtract 2xy from both sides. -5x - 3 = -2xy + y Factor the right side. -5x - 3 = y (-2x + 1) Divide both sides by (-2x + 1). (-5x - 3)/ (-2x + 1) = y (5x - 3)/ (2x + 1) = y Now we replace y with the inverse function notation: f^ (-1) x. f^ (-1) x = (5x + 3) / (2x - 1) This my work to reflect the answer. Is it correct? Thanks!
Thanks for pointing that out!
I must have a twin! lol...Hey can you tell me if this is correct? (a) Describe in words how the graph of f can be obtained from the graph of y = e^x. The graph of f can be obtained from the graph of y = e^x by off setting the graph by one. (b) What is the domain of f? x= {x|-&<x<+&, xEReal} X is the element of real numbers this means Infinite. Domain of f is all real values of f. (c) What is the range of f? The range is all the real numbers except three. (d) What is the y-intercept? State the approximation to 2 decimal places (i.e., the nearest hundredth). y intercept is when x is zero. e^-2 + 3 or about 1/e^2 + 3 =approximately 1/6 + 3 + 3.15 checking that in a calculator:??????????????????? IF X=0 THEN Y=e^ (-2) +3 e=2.7 2.7^-2+3=1/2.7^2+3= 3.14
I know that x = 4 but the question asks to convert Convert 6^x = 1296 to a logarithmic equation. Here are my choices: A. 6 = log_x 1296 B. 1296 = log_6 x C. x = log_1296^6 D. x = log_6 1296 the line stands for the number or x being below the g in log, and the ^ stands for the number being above the 6 in Choice C.
I would say B because 1296 = log 6^4 Is this correct?
4? So the answer would be D? D. x = log_6 1296 This was my second guess but I wasn't sure so log_6 1296 would work?
Thanks for the explanation!
I agree, now where would you say the trend is leading in the near to moderate term?
I think sadly you are correct, so I guess we got to accept what it is.
What about the limitations put on the first amendment by the Patriot Act of 2001?
No, but this is what happend, correct?
I am talking about things like this: How often have you heard football and basketball teams and boxers say, ''It's going to be a war'' when it's just a game or a fight? OR an athlete described as a ''warrior'' when that athlete is merely a determined and successful competitor? Based on that, have the use of war metaphors gone too far? More specifically, does it matter? that is, do these metaphors really influence how people think and act about movies, sports, politics and "real" wars?
Thanks for offering your point of view!
What makes this site a good example? What about tobacco companies? Would this be a good example of unethical business communication to the public when they all said that ciggerates aren't addictive and dangerous, but now agree with the consensus of health agencies and government yet still continue to promote their product with soft warnings of danger?
I don't think there are any, but I was going to use this as an example from the past, and compare it to today where they say it is not good to smoke, yet they continue to promote it to people. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your input!
This is what I thought those meant! Now spitting image is going to make me think even more! Thanks for the help!
Spit and image, or spitten image; could these be malapropisms for Spitting image?
Thanks Writeacher!

These sources seem a bit outdated to me. What about some more recent material?
Thanks for your help!
I believe people are already doing this, how about a product idea. Something tha can be useful to people. Nothing too fancy please. Thanks!
Oh, ok thanks. I understand it now.
thanks!
thanks!!!
How do you convert 36x + 7y = 8 into y=mx+b format?
how do you convert pC to Coulombs?????
6) is 34 g CH3OH
Thank you all
thank you!!!
umm... can you please explain
i still don't understand how you got that
since you're sampling a fifth of the light-bulbs, then you would times 21 and 5 to get 105 defective light-bulbs
can somebody please help me!?! this is urgent!

Thank you SraJ McGin for answering and checking them
I would say B delusions: A person holds false beliefs they insist are true, regardless of how much the facts contradict them. Delusion of influence is when people feel they are being controlled or influenced by others or by unseen forces.
B is the correct answer. I took a quiz with the exact question and I got the correct answer.
Typically, patterns begin during adolescence or even childhood. They are deeply rooted and usually span many years.
but the answer is B. you are correct.

When in a solid form, NaCl (salt) is a neutral compound. When dissolved in water the ions dissociate (break apart) to form Na+ and Cl-. How does this explain why salt can conduct electricity when dissolved but not in solid form? _______________________________________________
Wait so the first one is -1? Im so confused right now
Oh wait so that ; means its not part of the problem so its asking what the X and M is? Now i think i get it lol
