Not sure how to word it. But 9 x 9 is 81, right? 81 is a multiple of 3 because 9 is a multiple of 3. Another example, 7 x 6 is 42. 2 and 3 go into 6 which goes into 42. Its confusing at first but I hope i helped. Lemme summarize. You cant get 9 without 3....
