Thanks Damon! first I eliminated z by adding equation 1+2 (1st one *2) and got same as urs x+y= 10. Then, I eliminated z by adding equation 2+3 (2nd equation*3, and 3rd equation*2) and got x-y=6. x+y= 10 x-y=6 x=16 why is this wrong?

It still did not come out correctly I took cos60=.2/x and got .4 for the distance then did 3*.5*(.4)^2 and got .24 and then did 1/2(.24)(9.42)^2 and got 10.66J which is incorrect...

Since the force 235 N is at an angle, you want it to be parallell with the ground. To do that you do the cosine of the angle multiplied by the force. So 235*cos34.8 = 192.97 N Using F=ma 192.97=19a so a= 10.1563 m/s^2

Ok.. so I have done this.. And I´ve got the first questions right.. Made a fool of myself with the degrees of freedom, but now I know better... For the question of foreign/hybrid I got 195.209392 for my first try and got it wrong... I messed up the column...
