Why would any person or company want to "upgrade" from Windows 7 to Windows 8 with all its problems:

Instead of Windows 8, go for Windows 8.1 since it has bug fixes for Windows 8.
I would suggest to go with Windows 8.1 professional, it comes with all the standard apps and packages.
