If you let the math tutors know what you do and don't understand about this, one of them is more likely to be able to help.
i dont understand what i am supposed to do without distribution. i know i am really hard to understand but if you cant help its fine
I know the answer (i think) 2.69 but i dont know how to work it out :'(
does that help?
after a 20% discount, you would be paying 80% or .8

two ways:

1. .8(2.50+4.95+6.00)
= .8(13.45)
= 10.76

2.
.8(2.5) + .8(4.95) + .8(6.00)
= 2.00 + 3.96 + 4.8
= 10.76
Thank you so much reiny!
Keep in mind that I calculated your cost for you, not how much you saved.
You will still have to do that calculation.
i know... ive calculated that and i am pretty sure it 2.69. am i correct?
reiny is the first without distribution and is the second with distribution or vise versa? or not
anyone please help, doesnt have to be reiny. (by the way i am not trying to rush anyone)
Did you find out which one was distribution and which one wasn't?
1 is without, 2 is with
But what about the without distrubution?
1 is the without distribution and 2 is with.
I calculated and you will save $2.15. so write you saved $2.15 because 10.76 times 0.2 = 2.152, then you have to round to the nearest hundredths.
guys i was wrong dont write that
I'm lost!

Btw Reiny is right but here is how much you saved and how to do it:Saved: 13.45-10.76 (by the way I got 13.45 by adding $2.50+$4.95+$6.00=13.45) The total amount saved was $2.69. Thanks guys bye have a great day! Also if you every need me again I be here just say #Lost!
