not 810, but vh=810*cos42
Read the information that was given to you.
You shoot a rifle at an angle of 42 degrees. The bullet leaves your rifle at a height of 6 feet and a speed of 810 feet per second.
So I used the equation h(t)=6+(810 sin42)t-16t^2 to calculate that the bullet will hit the ground after 33.88580 seconds.
Now how do I calculate the distance of the bullet in feet? I tried 33.88580(810), but that isn't right.
