You own a company in a state where state funds aren't mandated for employee health insurance. What's one option for providing your employees with health care coverage for work-related injuries?

a. medicaid plans
b. referrals to other network groups
c. medical savings plans
d. self-insurance coverage

1 answer

It depends on the state laws. It is hard to believe in any state, if it went to court, the employer is NOT responsible to pay, either through state run disability claims and work injury programs, or through self-insurance, or through the employeers own pocket. The employee is NOT responsible, so that eliminates answers a, b, c.
