I think calling plastic the worst thing humans have ever invented is too harsh because it has some really useful benefits. For example, plastic is super lightweight and helps keep food fresh longer, which reduces waste. It’s also used in medicine, like syringes and heart valves, saving lives every day. While it's true that plastic can harm the environment if we don’t recycle it properly, many scientists are working on better ways to manage it, like creating biodegradable plastics. So, instead of seeing plastic as just bad, we should find better ways to use it and recycle it.
