You may encounter several question styles. This problem explains how to answer questions using selection lists, radio buttons, and checkboxes.

Selection lists
In many problems, you will be asked to fill in blanks in order to complete sentences. When you see a blank line, select it, and your list of answer options will be revealed. Select your answer and proceed.
Complete the following statement to see a selection list in action.
He rides around town in a (grape juice or haircut or car).

Radio buttons also require you to select one option from a given set of options, but this question type may appear in a variety of formats. The following is an example of the most common radio button format.
Answer the following question to see a radio button in action.
What color is a lemon?
Blue
Hot pink
Yellow
Now try a different type of radio button question. Use the following table to classify each item as either a day of the week or a month. Note that in this case, you may select one option from each row.

Day of the Week

Month
July

Monday

Saturday

December

Checkboxes
Unlike radio button questions, which contain only one correct answer, a checkbox question may contain multiple correct answers. In some checkbox questions, all of the options may be correct or all may be incorrect. You need to evaluate each checkbox answer separately and determine whether it is valid.
Understanding how checkboxes are graded can be a bit tricky. After you select Check Answer, a green check mark will appear to the left of your response if you correctly selected the box next to a correct answer; you will also see a green check mark if you correctly left an incorrect answer not selected. Similarly, a red X will appear next to any box that you incorrectly selected, as well as any that you incorrectly left not selected.
