You buy clothing at a sale. You buy a sweater (a really nice one!) at seven tenths (7/10) of its original price if $35. Answer the fallowing questions.

Question

A: How much money did you spend?
B: How much money did you save?
C: What fraction of the total original price did you save?

This is 15% of my grade, and I could never get an answer i'm so dumb.

(7/10) * 35 = 245/10 = 24.5

B. Subtract the new price from the original price.

C. Divide the original price by the amount you saved.
