You are serving at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. What are the initial thoughts and feelings you experience as the bombing takes place? Write at least 4 sentences.

As the bombing begins, my initial thoughts are confusion and disbelief. I can't believe that we are actually under attack. As the reality sinks in, fear grips me as I realize the danger we are in. I feel a rush of adrenaline and a sense of urgency as I know I need to act quickly to protect myself and my fellow sailors. Anger also starts to creep in as I think about the lives lost and the devastation caused by the attack.
