If the average (arithmetic mean) of the 3 numbers above is 3x and x≠0, What is y in terms of x?

(x+y+3y)/3 = 3x
x+4y = 9x
4y = 8x
y = 2x

check: (x+2x+3*2x)/3 = 9x/3 = 3x
