x^3+a^3

Factor= (x-a)

what is the remaninder when you divide x^3+a^3 by (x-a)?

Please show me your working out

I used synthetic division,

a | 1 0 0 a^3
...----------
.......a a^2 a^3
....1 a a^2 2a^3

I hope it somewhat lined up

then x^3 + a^3 = (x-a)(x^2 + ax + a^2) + 2a^3
