(x^3)^-5

A. 1/x^15
B. x^15
C. x^8
D. 1/x^8

I'm probably writing something wrong because I haven't gotten any one of these answers.. Can someone explain?

(x^3)^-5 = x^(-5*3) = x^-15 = 1/x^15
or
(x^3)^-5 = 1/(x^3)^5 = 1/x^15
