X=1/2at^2

Solve for a
Solve for t

Can you please show me how to do this
Thank u

well, sure, but there is much more to it.
As you stated the problem:
x = (1/2) a t^2

so
a = 2 x/t^2
or
t = sqrt (2 x/a)

but that is a gross oversimplification of what is going on with constant acceleration a

if a = some constant acceleration

v = Vi + a t where Vi is initial velocity

x = Xi + Vi t + (1/2) a t^2
where Xi is initial x position and x is the new x at time t
