I wouldn't choose any of the Scholarly Articles for any of these, but some of the others should be fine. Wikipedia articles should be OK; I'm not sure about wsj.com or nytimes.com articles. You'll need to explore and determine which ones to use.
Remember to find things that are just a little bit beyond where students are now. You don't want them frustrated, but you want them to "stretch" their minds and abilities.
