Look at #1. The words in the first set of parentheses are a verb and the rest of its phrase (the whole predicate), and the words in the second set of parentheses is the same structure.
What do you know as the definition for IC?
so what do I answer for the first ? How about the rest are wrong too?
The others are not.
CV = compound verb = two or more verbs in a clause for the subject
CS = compound subject = two of more subjects in a clause for the verb
(Once in a great while, a sentence might have both a CS and a CV in it.)
Is this an independent clause?
called me after school
What do you see in sentence 3?
6 ) CV
7)CS
8)IC,IC
9)IC,IC
10)CV
