4. Inclined plane – A flat surface with one end higher than the other, used for raising or lowering objects. Examples include ramps, stairs, and ladders.

5. Wedge – A triangular-shaped device with one end thick and the other end thin, used for splitting or cutting objects. Examples include knives, chisels, and axes.

6. Screw – A threaded rod with a pointed tip, used for holding objects together or raising or lowering them. Examples include bolts, screws, and jar lids.
