Write the net ionic equation for the reaction that occurs when aqueous solutions of barium hydroxide and hydrobromic acid are combined.
I know that the first part of the formula would be BaOH + HBr but I do not know what the product would be since HBr is one thing. I do not know what to do at this point. Please help. Thank you!

Ba(OH)2 + 2HBr ==> BaBr2 + 2H2O is the molecular equation. YOu can convert that to an ionic, then a net ionic equation. Remember that a base (Ba(OH)2) + an acid (HBr) produces a salt (BaBr2) + water.
Would this be correct for the complete equation?

OH^-(aq) + H^+(aq) ==> H2O(l)
