My name is Matawork Dejene and I have been fortunate enough to learn a variety of life skills from my family. Growing up in a farm, I learned the importance of hard work and perseverance from my father, Dejene. He taught me the value of agriculture, how to cultivate the land and raise livestock. These skills have not only provided me with a deep understanding of nature, but also instilled in me a sense of patience and kindness towards all living things.

On the other hand, my mother taught me essential domestic skills that have proven to be invaluable throughout my life. I developed the ability to make delicious meals and the art of keeping a clean and organized household. She also taught me the importance of proper hygiene, including how to wash clothes effectively and how to beautify gardens to create a peaceful and welcoming environment.

However, there are certain aspects of my personality that I can't attribute directly to my parents. For instance, I discovered a special behavior that brings me comfort whenever I feel worried - listening to music. The soothing melodies and lyrics have always provided me with an escape from the chaos of the world, allowing me to find solace in the sounds that resonate with my soul.

Furthermore, I have always possessed a natural inclination towards steady communication. Whether it be through writing or speaking, I have found it easy to express my thoughts and ideas. Additionally, I tend to have a strong desire to talk and engage with others. I have been told that my ability to be funny and make people laugh comes naturally to me, without any direct influence from my parents.

Overall, the life skills I have acquired from my family have shaped me into the person I am today. From farming and problem-solving to patience and generosity, I have been equipped with the tools to navigate through life's challenges. And while some of my unique traits may not be directly inherited, they still play a significant role in defining who I am. My name is Matawork Dejene, and I am grateful for the lessons and qualities that have been passed down to me.
