In a world of screens, kids lose their spark
Technology taking hold, leaving a mark
What once had value, now seems to fade
As devices consume, their attention swayed
Gone are the days of playing outside
Now it's all about what's online
Virtual worlds, replacing real ones
Leaving behind what truly stuns
Imagination stifled, creativity drowned
By the constant noise, screen's flashing sounds
What has value, lost in the glow
Of screens that never cease to show
Parents try to limit, but it's a losing fight
As technology grows stronger, like a blinding light
Kids become mere slaves to the screen
Losing touch with what's truly serene
What has value, in a world so fast
Where kids are losing touch, as time goes past
It's up to us to bring back what's true
To remind them of what's really of value
So let's unplug, take a step back
And reclaim what's lost, before we lack
The beauty of the real world, the joy it brings
Let's show our kids what has value in everything.
