Write an equation in point-slope form of the line that has a slope of 1/2 and passes through the point (5,-2) >>
(y+2)=.5(x-5)
(y+2)=.5(x-5)
(5, -2), (x, y). m = 1/2.
m = (y+2)/(x-5) = 1/2,
2(y+2) = (x-5),
(y+2) = 1/2(x-5).
m = (y+2)/(x-5) = 1/2,
2(y+2) = (x-5),
(y+2) = 1/2(x-5).
