I assume you mean a parabola
The vertex will be midway between the x-intercepts, at (1,k)
So, the equation will be
y = a(x-1)^2+b
You have the points (0,-2) and (3,0) so
a+b = -2
4a+b = 0
so, a = 2/3
b = -8/3
y = 2/3 (x-1)^2 - 8/3
What is an equation of a quadratic with x-intercepts at (-1, 0) and (-10, 0)
