the answer that i came up with was that the pattern start with one add 3 and it goes by 3's or 6's.

Can you see that each term after 1 is the previous term + 1, then multiplied by 2?
Thus 4= 2(1+1), 10=2(4+1), 22=2(10+1), 46=2(22+1), etc...
Can you find the next 3 terms now?
