You will have lexical definitions, those that come from the dictionary, these will be both synonyms and antonyms since you can define something by what it is not as well as by what it is. You will have some associated meanings, ideas that flow from and are closely related to the term you choose. Finally you should have some examples people can relate to. You may use one or two sentences for each of these three categories of definitions as you see fit

Resilience is the ability to adapt and recover in the face of adversity, challenges, or trauma. According to the dictionary, resilience is synonymous with elasticity, toughness, and flexibility; it refers to one's capacity to bounce back from difficult situations. Conversely, it stands in opposition to fragility and vulnerability, indicating a state that is more durable and robust in the face of stress. Associated with resilience are concepts like mental fortitude, emotional strength, and coping skills, which emphasize how individuals can maintain stability and thrive despite obstacles. While resilience focuses on recovery, mental fortitude refers specifically to the inner strength that allows someone to push through difficult circumstances, and emotional strength involves managing feelings effectively in the face of challenges. For example, a student who faces setbacks in their studies but continues to seek help and improve exemplifies resilience, just as an athlete who recovers from an injury and returns to competition demonstrates this quality. In summary, resilience is not just about enduring hardships but also about growing and emerging stronger from them.
