Write a 100 word response: to With technology being a huge part of our day to day life with school and communicating with other, as well as it being a form of entertainment, reading a piece of literature not only is a great kind of entertainment but also a wonderful way to escape reality. Technology has many benefits, but the social media side of it can bring people down, whether its from cyber bullying or just spending hours looking at other peoples lives and endlessly scrolling, and most of the time it leaves you at the end of the day having not learned anything, and feeling unsatisfied, but you still will wake up tomorrow and repeat the endlessly scrolling throughout the day. Literature is a fun version of a movie, with many kinds of genres, I believe everyone can find a book that they enjoy. They take time and teach you patience as you sometimes have to put the story down for a while to do other things, they as well tend to leave you feeling more fulfilled at the end of the day. Books as well have a way of describing moments that you can only understand from reading about them. With there being many genres and years of people writing books you can get a better understanding of the world and how it has evolved, even with fiction stories just by the details of how the characters live there life and what seemed normal to them, can seem interesting and a new way of life to us. Literature can expand your mind and your way of thinking from the wide variety of stories, it opens up the world a bit and shows you the many different ways of life as well as the evolution of the world throughout time. Technology tends to keep you playing games or mainly only seeing the now in life while stories expand that and open up your view to the many things in life. Literature has many values and is something people should include in there lives. Maybe not daily at first, or even ever, but at least occasionally.
