Write a 10 line poem about the Pythagorean theoream and its applications (make sure a 3rd grader can understand)

1 answer

In a triangle straight and tall,
A right angle stands so small.
With two sides short, and one side long,
Pythagoras sings a math song!

If you know two sides, just square them tight,
Add the two numbers, what a delight!
Take the square root, and you will see,
The longest side is as long as can be!

Triangles help us in many ways,
Building and measuring, through all our days!
