Intro;
Hello, I am 12 years old and my name is Navpreet Chauhan. I have been going to Hamilton Southeastern schools for about 7 years. I love helping others out.
Scholarship;
I usually make it on the high honor roll. I also always get perfect attendances. I have also been the student of the months in the past grades, I am looking forward to being one this year. Also, I got a medal for placing 2nd in the district for Spell Bowl in 4th grade.
Character;
I have great grades in school. I always get to class on time and I am prepared on a daily basis. I am respectful and honest. I have never gotten a honor card mark in 5th and 6th grade. I am a risk taker, I love to try out new things. I like to challenge myself to be better at other things.
Leadership;
Leadership is a great thing to have/ know. The golden rule is “Treat others the way you want to be treated”. It’s something I follow, but most times if someone doesn't treat me right, I still treat them right. I don’t follow others bad influences; I try to get them to not be influenced.
Service;
I like to go out and meet new people. Whenever I can, I try to hold doors open for others, help elderly and do anything I can do to help others out. I am “in charge” of all the little kids at church on Sundays. I play with them and teach them, also if they are hungry or tired I get them food or put them to nap. At school I did Art Club, I helped paint the set for the school play. I do Academic Team, I learn so much; mostly every subject is included in the questions. I tried out for Math Counts as well but I didn’t make the team. I’m not the best at math but I will try again next year.
Conclusion;
I want to be a part in NJHS and I hope to become a part in NJHS. I would like to thank you for reading my essay and also for giving me a chance to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
