It might. It all depends upon what you're doing with the CaBr soln versus the sodium solution.
we are mixing sodium bromide with Cl2, I2, and Br2
Probably not.
What you have going on is
2Br^- + Cl2 ==> Br2 + 2Cl^-
and it's the Br^- doing the reacting; I don't think Ca ion enters into anything.
