Why does water have more surface tension than methylated spirits?
4 answers
For the same reason that it has a higher boiling point: There is more intermolecular attraction with water. This has something to do with its polarity and "hydrogen bonding"
Explanation of why the surface tension of water is greater than that of methylated spirit???
Water has more surface tension than methylated spirits due to waters strong intermolecular forces.
Plz name the intermolecular forces of ethanol, iodin and watee
