Why does the chemical reaction need the letters to be in upper and lower case ?

Is it a different way to understand chemical reactions

1 answer

The chemical symbols for the elements always start with an upper-case letter (H, K, B, P, etc.)
There may also be a second lower-case letter (He, Ba, Au, etc.)

Take a look at the periodic table of the elements.
