Why do revolutions only took place in the Third World and not First world countries?

do...present tense
took..past tense.
So when is the question: The French revolution, the russian revolution were in those times in "first" world countries.
Nowadays, the first world countries have strong police, intelligence, and armed forces to quell rebellion. Remember the watts riots?
