Faithful ones who have died are still considered guests in Jehovah's tent because they are alive in His memory. As Jesus stated, Jehovah is "the God of the living," meaning those who have passed away remain alive to Him. This assures us that faithful ones continue to be under His care and attention, even in death.
Why can we say that faithful ones who have died are still guests in Jehovah’s tent? (See also picture.)
What about faithful ones who have died? Can we reasonably conclude that they are still guests in Jehovah’s tent? Yes! Why can we say that? Because such ones are alive in Jehovah’s memory. Jesus explained: “That the dead are raised up, even Moses made known in the account about the thornbush, when he calls Jehovah ‘the God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob.’ He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him.”—Luke 20:37, 38.
