Asked by David Lai
Which tense (simple or past) do I use to describe a hotel I visited last month?
For example:
I stayed at the Paris hotel with my parents last month. The hotel has (or Had?) a replica of the Eiffel tower.
Thanks
present tense, has, because even though you are no longer at the hotal, the replica has not vanished into mid air. it is still there. so it would be has.
