Which set of ordered pairs are on the graph of the function y = 1/2 x - 2 ?

F (-4,0) , (6,-5 )
G (-4,0) , (6, 5 )

um i think u wrote H and/or J wrongly
but its either H/J.. u wrote the answer wrongly fully
hope it helps
y = 1/2 x - 2

In the 2nd column all of the points have
x = +6

y = 1/2 x - 2
y = 1/2(6) - 2
y = 6/2 - 2
y = 3 - 2
y = 1

Therefore, none of the choices are correct (since none of the points have y = 1).

I think you have a typo because if I use x = -6

y = 1/2 x - 2
y = 1/2(-6) - 2
y = -6/2 - 2
y = -3 - 2
y = -5

So the point, (-6, -5) is on the graph.

Now you try the same with the points in the first column.
