Which sentence is punctuated incorrectly?

A:Kenneth Grahame's novel "The Wind in the Willows" was first published in 1908.
B:Kenneth Grahame's novel The Winds in the Willows<-(this is underlined) was first published in 1908.
C:Kenneth Grahame's novel The Winds in the Willows<-(this is italicized) was first published in 1908.
D:The Winds in the Willows<-(this is italicized), Kenneth Grahame's novel, was first published in 1908.

Just checking the first one. For the second, I saw that the incorrectly punctuated sentence is A. Why is this the case over B? (I know it's not C or D)

For your second question, remember that titles of books, movies, plays, artwork, magazines, etc., need to be either underlined or in italics. A is the incorrectly punctuated sentence because of the quotation marks -- those are for items that can be published within something else: poems, song lyrics, magazine articles ...

And I agree with you that A is the incorrectly punctuated sentence for the first question. There doesn't need to be a hyphen between "internal" and "combustion" since the first is an adjective modifying the noun.
