Which region of the visible spectrum is not absorbed well by chlorophyll

1 answer

Chlorophyll primarily absorbs light in the blue (around 430-450 nm) and red (around 640-680 nm) regions of the visible spectrum. However, it does not absorb well in the green region (around 500-550 nm). This is why chlorophyll appears green; it reflects and transmits green light rather than absorbing it.
