Trade is the only word with a long vowel sound.
Are you sure that's correct because someone told me the answer is Sell or Bargain
It seems to me that all of these words have to do with buying and selling merchandise.

Have you been studying buying and selling? Or have you been studying vowel and consonant sounds?

Perhaps the outlying word is bargain, as the other three words imply a finished transaction. Bargaining is just a process.
