Which of the following is not a unit of power?

a)hp
b)J
c)W
d)J/s
I answered d. J/s because its measuring speed and not power. I don't know if its correct or not.

nope. it's not D,,
power is work per unit time, or
P = w/t
where w = work in Joules (J) and t = time in seconds (s)
thus the unit of power is Joules/second or J/s
(A) hp = horsepower --> a unit of power,,
(B) J = Joules --> unit of work
(C) W = watts --> a unit of power, and it is also 1 watt = 1 joule/second
(D) J/s --> of course, a unit of power

so it's (B).

hope this helps. :)
Thanks!
