Honestly, I don't think so.
For "H2O" and "H2", there is a coefficient of 2. "O2" has a coefficient of 1
This is "2H2O" and "2H2". And just "O2"
"2H2O = 2H2 + O2"
So, B is the answer.
I hope this helps! :)
P.S. I got the answer of 2H2O = 2H2 + O2 from a website, but I tried to explain it better off of that website. I am not sure I explained right, but I know B is correct.
Which chemical equation is balanced?
A. H2O----> H2+2O2
B. 2H2O---> 2H2+O2
C. 2H2O---> H2+2O2
D. H2O----> 2H2+2O2
Is the answer A?
Thanks
