Thomas King is a First Nation author living in Canada. He is currently a professor of English at the University of Guelph (20 minutes from me).
His most noted books are "Back of the Turtle (2014)" and " The Inconvenient Indian" (2012).
Great books, I read them both.
Most of his works deal with the problems and injustices of the native people of both Canada and the US.
