Which answer choices best indicate that a substance has experienced a chemical change?

Select all that apply.
when the substance changes temperature
when the substance changes shape
when the substance changes volume
when a new substance is formed

A, B, D?
Definitely D because when you make a new substance there is a new molecular compound and it would be a chemical change. I also agree with A because temperature change to a certain degree can lead to a chemical change like denaturing enzymes. Changing shape is a physical change and does not alter your substance. Changing the volume is also negligible so I think A,D
the correct answer is when the substance changes temperature, and when a new substance is formed. I did the quiz :)
