To remove portions of an image you have inserted in PowerPoint, you would click on the image to select it first. Then, go to the "Picture Format" tab on the ribbon. In that tab, look for the "Remove Background" tool. This tool allows you to mark areas of the image to keep or remove. After selecting "Remove Background," PowerPoint will highlight areas it thinks are background in purple, and you can adjust the selection to refine what you want to keep or remove.
Where on the ribbon would you click to remove portions of an image you have inserted to PowerPoint?
