When you divide a proper fraction by an improper fraction, is the quotient less than 1,greater than 1,or equal to 1?

(3/4) /(5/4) = (3/4) * (4/5) = 12/20 = 3/5

You're right. It's less than 1 because we invert the divisor and multiply.
