Do you understand this sentence? Deviance is functional for society.

Since society includes all societies, even those without capitalism, doesn't that make D the best choice?

Think about the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Civil Rights Movement. Weren't the promoters of these wars and movements deviant? But none of them opposed capitalism.
