1^2-(2-x)^2=2^2-x^2
1 - (4 - 4x + x^2) = 4 - x^2
1 - 4 + 4x - x^2 = 4 - x^2
4x = 7
x = 7/4
I don't understand why a textbook would write a term
as 1^2 and 2^2 in an equation.
That is just silly.
What's the answer to
1^2-(2-x)^2=2^2-x^2
The answer said x =7/4
But no matter how I tried. I couldn't get that
