What would happen if the dinosaurs still existed today.
1 answer
If dinosaurs were still to exist today, they would have to compete with humans for resources and space, which would be quite tough considering how large and intimidating some of them were. Very few plants would be able to sustain the massive herbivorous needs of some of the dinosaurs, so they would end up going extinct again, slowly but surely. Additionally, a change in the ecosystem would likely occur because the presence of the dinosaurs would affect the behavior of other animals. It's also possible that humans would end up driving some dinosaur species to extinction as they have done with many animals in the past. Therefore, while it might be thrilling to see live dinosaurs, their existence in today's world would lead to a lot of issues.
