What would be the effect of raising the temperature and increasing the carrier gas flow rate on the ability to resolve two closely spaced peaks in gas chromatography?

-I was thinking that the width or the maximum peak of each curve will change since the retention time is decreasing. i'm i correct? please help. tahnks

Yes, rasing the temp and increasing carrier flow rate both reduce the retention time, and decrease the widths. Resolution is enhanced by lowering temp, and lowering carrier rate.
thank you sooo much. you guys are great.
